COBS 2.2.3R requires KCP LLP and KCM Ltd to disclose the nature of their commitment to the Financial Reporting Council’s Stewardship Code (the "Code") or, where they do not commit to the Code, the alternative strategy. The Code comprises 12 Principles for asset managers (the "Principles").
KCP LLP’s and KCM Ltd’s principal macroeconomic strategies mean they do not typically invest in companies with a view to actively influencing their operational and management decisions. Accordingly, while KCP LLP and KCM Ltd generally support the objectives of the Code, the Principles are not presently directly relevant to their investment strategies. In the event the investment strategy or approach of either KCP LLP or KCM Ltd change such that the Code may become relevant, they will reconsider the nature of their commitment to the Code and update this disclosure accordingly.
